Mentorbank: Money with Management

General Maintenance & Training received mentoring through SYIF Mentorbank
A unique feature of the way the Fund helps businesses is the Mentorbank service. This provides mentoring support to help management teams grow their business more profitably.
Mentorbank has developed a database of more than 480 experienced business people drawn from across the UK and has placed over 250 mentors in businesses.
These mentors help in the short term to fill skill shortages and in the longer term, to develop strategic capability in senior management teams. They can provide a sounding board for managers considering their options and the consequences of business decision making.
A client has the opportunity to choose the right mentor for their business with the skills in marketing, sales or finance that they need to help their business grow.
Mentorbank can add a whole new dimension to the companies in which SYIF invest and the scheme has proved to be very successful. Mentorbank is the largest mentor database in the region.
